Denis & Diann Putland Memorial Fund

Diann (Kitsch) and Denis Putland were both born and raised in the area. Their family hog and grain farm was located near Churchbridge. They were married in 1964 and were blessed with two married children Roslyn (John) Bourak and Ross (Tammy) Putland and were very proud of one grandson Jordan.

Diann was known to everyone as the “lily Lady” her love of gardening and flowers was nurtured by her mother in law, Vera Putland. Diann had a successful online and catalogue lily business.

Diann always had a large vegetable garden, perennial beds, rose garden and an apple orchard.

Both Denis and Diann were very active in the Lutheran church and the community

Diann was a member of local, regional and provincial horticultural societies. She provided flowers for many occasions, frequently to care homes and church.

They both Loved to visit with friends and family and spent many days traveling in their RV .

To continue their legacy of caring for others and their community, after Diann passed away Denis decided to bequeath $20,000.00 to the Family and Friends Community Foundation the interest each year to will be shared by the Churchbridge Communities in Bloom and the Churchbridge Cemetery.
